Journal 129 Verze, Italian Clothing, Ikea Order
Hello!
How was your week? Was it good? Was it bad?
Today I want to talk about a cool vegetable we’ve been eating. I had never heard of this vegetable until I came to Italy. It’s called verze, and it’s a type of cabbage. In English it’s called a Savoy cabbage.
It is one of those foods that look like the part of the body they are good for. For example, walnuts look like a brain, and they are good for your brain. Red wine is good for your blood. Eggs and red meat are good for women’s reproductive health.
Verze has very pronounced veins, and it is good for varicose veins. I have some family members who struggle with varicose veins, and I wish they could access this vegetable in America. It’s so hardy, robust, and delicious. Do you have verze in your country?
I also have a wild development regarding clothing. I tried out some Italian women’s clothing and everything fit amazingly! I am so happily shocked. Women’s clothing did not fit or flatter me in America. I can’t believe this.
Lastly, I want to mention that we are almost ready to make the Ikea order. This was a tough one. But I’m excited to share and talk about the picks. The first two waves of furniture were for having a place to sleep and sit, this third wave is for making it cozy.
Thank you so much for reading!
Please have a good and gentle week.
