Journal 117 Less Heat

Hi girls!

How was your week?

For me, it looks like the weather is finally going to cool down. June was the hottest ever recorded in Western Europe, and that same heat continued all through July.

It. Was. Hot.

This upcoming week, I want to pick up where I left off with projects, chores, and exploring my town and the area around it. It’s like everything became paused when the intense heat started.

There are still a few necessary projects to do around the apartment, and there is so much cleaning to catch up on.

Maybe not this month or next month, but there is another Ikea order building. My cat doesn’t have a good spot to take her daytime naps, so we need to find a solution. Perhaps a day bed. She is not getting her minimum sixteen hours!
