Blubmas Day 12

Hi girls.

Today I wanted to make hot chocolate, but didn’t accomplish it. Hopefully soon. Hot chocolate is tough for me to make. I never have a spare clean pot! I want to drink it with a candy cane in it like all the girls do. I have all my ingredients ready but it’s all about the pot…

Speaking of washing dishes, I had quite an episode with a broken plate. It was a glass plate that shattered. I donked it medium-hard on the sink’s edge and it shattered into a million pieces! When tempered glass goes, it sure goes with a bang! This plate had travelled from coast to coast and back in a camper van and was used daily for over a year and it was fine. But I guess I hit some trigger point.

It was a mess. I think breaking the plate hit some trigger point for me too. My brain was all messed up and I didn’t eat enough, so I was pretty on-edge. I was crying picking up the glass. I was so nervous my cat would wake up and come down. I vacuumed as quickly as possible. The vacuum is so great to have at times like this.

… It is never a good idea to skip oatmeal in the morning.
