Journal 73 Nice Combo, Housing Failures, Labor Day Plans

Today I discovered that wine and weed is a beautiful combination. This is a well-known thing, but I didn’t know about it until today. What have I been doing the last thirty-one years?

We had a lot of failures with housing so far this year. I didn’t write about them because I thought they would work out, but they didn’t. This housing situation is crazy! It’s happening everywhere in the world right now. So many people are having a hard time. It boggles my mind.

If you’re having a hard time with housing, I’m sorry. It really, really, really sucks.

My Ikea Vardagen cup broke! I hit the rim with a utensil. Wow, I talked about that cup with you shortly after I started this website! It was a hot commodity around here. It held a great amount of water and it had measurements for baking. It was used so frequently that the measurements on the side were barely visible. What wasn’t it good for? Large capacity, wide opening, nice spout for pouring... Excellent in times of great need...

Goodbye, my big glass cup. You’ve helped me a lot. I’ll miss you. Thank you!

Tomorrow is Labor Day. We have some chicken marinating. Chicken from a vinegar marinade is sooo good! And it helps the grilled meat be less carcinogenic. I also realized that deboning the chicken helps so much when using the charcoal grill. My partner might grill tomorrow, so I’m really excited to eat grilled food without being the one who cooks it. Hopefully I will be a good assistant.
