Art Post: Train Yard Sketch

Hello!!! 

Oh my I forgot to post yesterday! I had my sketch ready, so I was feeling so calm that I forgot to post! Hahaha!

When I went into New York City unfortunately I forgot to bring my notebook. I went into Muji and picked up a B6 size notebook and a brown pen for under five dollars. I thought that was pretty good! 

By the end of day, I was very tired, but I really wanted to try and sketch. I also wanted to go see some construction on the Gateway Tunnel. 

So here is my sketch of the train yard. You can also see some tunnel construction on the left. 

What do you think? Apparently these types of sketches capture the mood and feel. Can you feel the wind? How about the cold? My fingers got so cold! 

This was all the city sketching I could do that day, but it was super fun. I want to do more!
