Art Post: Signatures

Hello!

Do you have a signature for your artwork?

Lately I have been thinking about having a signature. For some reason, I get embarrassed signing my drawings. Have you ever experienced this?

Usually I just print my first name. Or type it out if it’s digital. I tried combining the initials in a cute way, but I couldn’t come up with anything. The most important thing to me is that it’s clearly legible. So I don’t want to use cursive.

When are you supposed to sign your work? I like to post lots of sketches, little tidbits, and practice drawings. Do I sign those? If anyone finds them interesting, I would want them to know who made them. But it feels silly to sign those things. But maybe it’s not silly to someone who wants to know who made them? Maybe I can add a small image of my signature to my photos? But I don’t want it to be distracting.

Haha, A.C. is like a/c, an abbreviation for air conditioning in America.
