Art Post: Not Getting Swept Away

Hi!

Today I want to talk a little about not getting swept away. You don’t have to feel overwhelmed or intimidated when seeing other people’s work. Or think that obtaining a high level is impossible for you.

Whether it’s a historical work or a contemporary artist, you might look at something and think, “How can I ever draw something like that?”

You will never draw like that person because you are not them. But maybe you have a chance of creating good works of your own!

But I don’t believe everyone is capable of being a great artist either. Or dancer, or runner, or mathematician. It’s fashionable these days to denounce talent to nothing.
