Art Post: Art History

My partner suggested I should copy other people’s art. But where to start? How can I find artists whose work I want to learn from?

I was always a big fan of the old masters, but I don’t know any names of individual old masters.

Then my partner remembered this book: The Annotated Mona Lisa by Carol Strickland. This was a book recommended by an art history teacher.

An early edition of this book is somewhere in this house. Hopefully we will find it and I can get a crash course in art history!

I am glad that I will be reading about art history when I am a little older. I feel more secure in my art, and I can process information better.

Please have a super great end to your week. Thank you for always hanging out with me for art posts. I really hope they are helpful or interesting or just provide some fun chatter.
